At 3,200 forms, every per-form vendor costs more than your rent.

A typical 5-client practice files about 3,200 returns per season. Here's the same season, priced both ways.

Every form type. Every client. FIRE in, IRIS XML out, A2A submitted. The meter never runs.

Built for the season, not the demo.

Every feature is something a tax pro needs in late January, not something a marketing page needs in April.

Upload your existing Pub 1220 fixed-width file. We parse, validate, and emit Pub 5718 XML, schema-checked before transmission.

CSV and Excel too

Bring forms from QuickBooks, Gusto, Excel exports: anything with a header row. Aliases for the messy ones.

One IRS Transmitter Control Code covers every client. We file on your behalf and persist the IRS receipt.

IRS A2A

Originals ready to file

NEC, MISC, INT, DIV, and R originals produce IRS-ready A2A XML. Corrected and void returns are on the roadmap before the 2027 season, once every record carries its original-record link.

FAQ

Questions tax pros ask first

What is IRIS?
IRIS is the IRS Information Returns Intake System. From January 2027 it is the only IRS system that accepts 1099 e-filing. It replaces FIRE, which shuts down on December 31, 2026.
Do I need my own Transmitter Control Code?
No. IRISfile files under the PixelCove TCC, approved by the IRS in April 2026. You skip the 45-day IRS application.
Which 1099 forms can I file?
IRISfile converts 1099-NEC, MISC, INT, DIV, R, B, and S. A2A filing covers NEC, MISC, INT, DIV, and R and goes live for the 2027 season. 1099-B and 1099-S filing is on the launch roadmap.
Is there a per-form fee?
No. Every tier is a flat monthly price. Starter is $79 a month for one EIN and up to 500 forms a year. Per-form vendors charge $0.68 to $0.80 a return, so the flat rate wins above about 270 forms a season.
Can I still use my old FIRE files?
Yes. Upload the same fixed-width file you sent to FIRE. IRISfile parses it, validates every record, and produces schema-checked IRIS XML for the forms it files. Records it cannot file yet are listed in the results, never dropped.
